Home of the White Buffalo, Snyder, Texas is a town of approximately 15,000 residents located in Scurry County.  Snyder is also home to the second largest windfarm in the nation.  Having one of the top 3 cumulative oil fields in the nation, Scurry County is a huge supplier of oil and natural gas to the nation's energy sector.  Snyder and Scurry County are also major producers in the farm and ranch industry.

Snyder is home to Western Texas College, a junior college committed to academic excellence and success of its students.  WTC works in conjunction with Snyder ISD to offer dual credit classes to our students.

Snyder ISD serves nearly 3,000 students on four campuses, in addition to a campus housing our special programs and family engagement center.
